The Edinboro men’s track and field team enjoyed one of the high points of the season Saturday as four runners – Kyle Wunz (400m), Darren Campbell (800m), Scott Anderson (3,000m) and Jason Borst (400m hurdles) -- won individual events at the UB Invitational in Buffalo, NY.

Wunz, who earlier this season posted a strong performance at the Raleigh Relays, won the 400-meter dash with a time of 48.17, more than a second ahead of Buffalo’s Isaiah Mask. He also finished in front of teammate Brennan Fedorko, who placed fourth.

Campbell won by a little less than a second in the 800-meter run with a time of 1:58.40, while Anderson captured the 3,000-meter title by nearly four seconds with a time of 8:46.58. Sean Naderer (5th), Chris Lantinen (7th) and Mike Thielman (9th) also earned top 10 finishes in the event.

A winner in the 400-meter hurdles last weekend at Slippery Rock, Borst maintained his stellar form by winning the same event at Buffalo with a time of 52.73, just ahead of teammates Kyle Maio (4th) and Cody Glotz (5th).

In other events, Jordan Roose finished third in the 1,500-meter run with a time of 4:13.43, while Chris Carpin and Parker Kocan finished second and third, respectively in the pole vault.

On the women's side, Tina Yi won the 3,000-meter run to lead the team.
