Dear Editor,

The April 8th edition of The Spectator featured an article with a photograph of President Jeremy Brown with his newly unveiled portrait. I thought the university community might be interested to know that the portrait was painted by Emeritus Professor James McMurray, who taught painting and drawing in the art department. It was the latest in the series of portraits of presidents of Edinboro University that Jim has made over the years. A number of his other paintings are on display in various locations around campus, as well.
